How It Works
FlowCaster Live Operation
FlowCaster.live is a post production centric meeting server
Normally, the editor will install the FlowCaster plugin into their editing software, and then connect the direct output of the editor, the timeline interface and themself into the live.
Other participants join via their Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android or other devices by a simple link. They have optional camera and microphone access to the meeting.
As the production is reviewed, FlowCaster maintains the exact time code of the clip or sequence. Participants can make comments, add emoji and collaboratively draw directly on the video or edit timeline. All comments/drawings are saved with their time code and automatically recalled any time that time code is shown. Any changes made by the editor are shown in real time via the direct output from the editor into the meeting.
Once the session is over, it can be downloaded, and that file can be directly imported into your editor to make markers for each comment and overlaid drawings for any drawing made on the main editor's output. For maximum security none of your audio/video assets are ever uploaded to the server. They are only shared with the selected members of the meeting, in real time.
